Do you have any liberal friends, family members, or co-workers that believe the polar opposite of you on abortion? Are you a legislator or candidate, faced with questions about your stance on abortion when knocking doors or on the phone with constituents? It can be a difficult conversation to have, and perhaps it's one that you avoid, because you simply don't know how to broach the topic, or don't want to alienate anyone.
Here's the thing, though . . . when it comes to LD 1619, and late term abortion, that philosophical and moral divide might not be as wide as you think it is. The fact is, the majority of Mainers, pro-life AND pro-choice, don't support late term abortion! That knowledge alone doesn't necessarily make it easy to launch into a conversation on such a difficult topic, so how should we respond when it comes up?
We are excited to introduce the upcoming event “Speak Up for LIFE: Talk the Talk,” presented by the Leadership Institute and co-hosted by Anna Gary and the Kennebec County Turning Point USA chapter.
At “Talk the Talk," participants will hear from national leaders in the pro-life industry, as they demonstrate tools you can use to build your best, most impactful pro-life messages. It will explore how to create positive interactions that change the minds of moderates and start to thaw the hearts of liberals.

Thanks to very generous donors the cost for each attendee has been covered! Dinner will be served but space is limited, so register TODAY to reserve your seat before the opportunity is gone!
